It is a simple thing to read a scripture like the one above, but it is another to attempt to live and walk it out as a person. This in itself is a tremendous goal to try to attain. At New Hope we strive to create an environment where we all – leadership and layperson alike – work together towards this common goal of authentic love.
It is our desire at New Hope to shine the light of Jesus within our services and then throughout our communities.

New Hope Pentecostal fellowship is a family friendly church.
Kids don’t disturb our services, they enhance them.
Our children programs center on Bible focused, fun lessons and crafts.
Pastor Tim has been married to Patti for 33 years, and is the proud father of three adult children, all of whom are married and proud grandfather. Pastor Tim has been ministering in Olds for over 20 years. He really appreciates the atmosphere of small town living and the opportunities to meet and greet neighbours while taking daily strolls to the beautiful Olds College garden laden grounds. He enjoys his time at the local gym attempting to set personal records with heavy weights. He also enjoys tandem kayaking with Patti on the lakes nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and British Columbia. Pastor Tim has a burning desire to see people come to know the Lord and have their hope and future established through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

Love, Acceptance & Forgiveness
“When love, acceptance and forgiveness prevail, the Church of Jesus Christ becomes what Jesus was in the world: a center of love designed for the healing of broken people and a force for God.” ~ Pastor Jerry Cook
Love Our Goal is to love one another and demonstrate this love to the world.
Acceptance Of one another’s faults; of who we are as people with all our short comings.
Forgiveness Walking in forgiveness towards others and receiving forgiveness from the Lord.
Without Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness in us, with us, and emanating from us, there is no relationship with Jesus Christ.
I John 3:14 NIV
“We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.”
Churches that experience growth generally adhere to one fundamental principle: They give generously.
This generosity extends beyond monetary contributions and includes giving their time and resources.
These churches are generous with everything they have, even sending their best to help fulfill the Great Commission given by Christ. The age-old principles of 'Give, Pray, or Go' still hold true when it comes to missions.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NIV):
6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
